Program that uses space-based weapons as measure of protection against nuclear ballistic missiles and other forms of attacks originating from Earth or from outer space. The program was first initiated by President Ronald Reagon in 1993 and has since expanded and become increasingly secretive. SDI is nowadays mainly indirectly controlled by the US shadow government (Department of Intelligence and Department of War).
